Big Bear High School is pleased to announce we will be offering summer school this year.  It will consist of 19 days beginning Monday, June 10th (no school on June 19th, July 4th & July 5th) through Tuesday,  July 9th 2024.  There will be two sessions offered (each session equals 1 semester of a course, 5 credits) 

• Morning (7:30 am - 11:15 am) 

• Afternoon (11:45 am - 3:30 pm).  

Classes must be attended in person, on-campus at BBHS; there will be no distance learning during summer session. 

Classes offered:  English, Math, World History, US History, Gov/Econ, PE, & Science.  

Incoming 9th graders will be able to take PE only!

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Transportation will NOT be provided

Summer School Policies: 

All regular school rules apply during Summer School.

Attendance is mandatory.  Due to the shortness of summer school, a student who misses more than two days of school for ANY reason will not receive credit and will be immediately dropped from class.  Two tardies are equal to one absence.

Students are expected to arrive on time to begin classes, and parents are expected to pick up students promptly when done with their class(es).  Likewise, students are not permitted to leave campus during breaks or lunch without permission from the Principal.
