San Bernardino Valley College Dual Enrollment Program
4 Year Academic Plan
Each Fall your Counselor will meet with the students in 9th, 10th, & 11th grade to create and update students 4 year academic plans. These plans have been developed based on the post secondary goals of each individual student and their parents.
Invitations to attend these small group meetings will be sent to parents in the Fall.

Xello- College/Career Planning
Xello is a user-friendly comprehensive college and career search website. Various tools on the site provide valuable information for all students from the person who doesn't know where to begin as well as the student who has some post-secondary plans in hand. Students can complete an interest inventory (Career Matchmaker), Search for colleges, universities and vocational programs based on their own criteria (School Selector), research careers including information on job descriptions, wages, future outlook and read interviews with professionals working in the field. They can find college majors, identify high school classes that relate to their career interests, find out more about their personal learning style and even build a resume of activities to assist them in completing college and job applications. All research, assessment results and information can be saved by students to an electronic portfolio.
Students will login through their CLEVER account.

BBHS PSA (Parents in Support of Academics) through their fundraising efforts coordinates and implements College Tours for our students annually.
Students have the opportunity to take guided tours at state, private, and community colleges.

Trade/Tech Schools
A trade/technical school is any post-secondary educational institution that offers training for a specific job. Students attend a vocational program to learn the skills needed for their chosen career path, such as welding, business administration, or computer repair. Trade schools are focused on quickly preparing students to enter the workforce in a skilled trade.
