Social Studies (Grades K-4)
Social Studies Announcements
Stay up to date on all things Social Studies in the lower grades (K - 4th)
The goal of Social Studies class is to help students understand aspects of making informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world. Social Studies will include history, geography, political science, sociology, economics and civics. All projects will be completed in class, but resources will be sent home and taken to homeroom to use as references in other subjects.
Students are NOT REQUIRED to bring any materials with them to class, unless specifically noted by me. There will be times where I email their homeroom teachers and let them know what materials they need, most likely their chromebooks. Pencils and all project materials will be provided.
