I think that one of the skills that I have learned is creating because when I was doing my prototype with Kirsten, we had to use our creating skills to create our prototypes. When we were making our first prototype, the Rice Krispie Treats, we didn't properly measure our butter and we added too much and the treats were softer than it was supposed to be. The feedback from the 2 teachers both said that the treats look delicious, one of them even said that their mouth started watering when they saw the S'mores cookies. And from the feedback that I was given, I learned to focus on time management and goal setting to be more organized. Hopefully, we can start to see some of the students or teachers creations.

I have changed been trying to keep track of when my things are due, also called Time management, but I think I still need to work on it. If I can improve the Time management skill and ALSO the goal-setting skill I think I could become extremely productive and focused on work, going out, waking up on time, finishing work ON TIME, etc. I think the keep learning part of my well-being has changed a lot since my innovation started because I got to learn from making my innovation which taught me a lot. I have started to care MORE about the 5 ways of well-being especially because the keep active and keep learning parts of the well-being points I found out are actually really effective to me. Also because I have realized that the well-being points are very important for your life and that if you actually care then you can become more productive and focused on work.

Mandarin Art 27.4.21

This picture shows that I’m looking back at what I’ve learned in Mandarin from when I was in Year 1 to now (Year 6), how I went from not knowing any Mandarin to knowing a lot more. The process of learning Mandarin wasn’t easy. For me, learning Mandarin at first was just sounding out the words and it would just get stuck in my head. Mandarin is a very popular language and learning it wasn’t easy but it wasn’t hard, some parts of it can be hard to understand, but if you put your mind to it, you will be a Mandarin expert in no time.

What have you done?

For my Year 6 Exhibition, I have done an amazing website filled with all the work I did for the past 2 months. I have also done an extremely fun innovation, where I got to choose anything to do that would change a part of someone's well-being and make that part or parts better for them. A lot of people did things related to the school but I did something for other students and teachers for their keep learning area of the 5 ways of well-being.

Why did you do it?

I settled on this idea because it teaches other students and teachers how to cook and bake different foods in case they want to make it for their families or just for themselves. I also settled on this idea because it was simple and it settles on the keep learning point of the 5 ways of well-being.

What area of wellbeing have you targeted? Add detail- use because

I have targeted the keep learning are of well-being because it is important for students and teachers to learn as much as possible so they can maintain a healthy mind and also so that they can reward themselves after putting their hard work into making the foods.

How effective do you think your innovation has been in solving the problem and how do you know?

I think my innovation has been really effective in solving the problem of some students not knowing or learning how to bake and cook, I know because on our padlet there has been a lot of feedback saying how yummy the treats look and I also got some emails saying that they have always wanted to learn how to bake and cook.

What changes have and will you make?

I think that we have made people more excited about cooking and baking since they would be making sweet treats for them and their family. I feel like we would definitely change the way how students look at cooking and baking.

How sustainable is your innovation?

I think our innovation is very sustainable because we have had no downfalls in our innovations and no negative feedback on our padlet, nothing in our innovation is going wrong, everything is going uphill.

What has been your biggest achievement throughout? (this might be the development of a skill)

I feel like my biggest achievement was improving my skill of time management because before my innovation I used to not manage my time at all and I would ALWAYS be behind on work and never finish it on time.

What has been most challenging?

The most challenging part of our innovation process was that we had to film all of our videos in one day because we wanted to do it together with the same background and e also wanted to help each other film the videos.

If you were to do this again what would you do differently?

I would have probably found some more easy and more HEALTHY snacks so if some people were vegetarian or vegan, they could have those insteaad our sweet treats.

How is the exhibition learning like sculpting and like an apple?

These paragraphs were to show how the exhibition learning is just like sculpting and why, it also shows why the exhibition learning is like an apple and also why. This also shows that if the exhibition learning was a symbol what the symbol would look like. The grid shows 9 keywords that describe the exhibition learning to me.
