Opportunity K is a free, early-entry kindergarten program designed to support children without access to early childhood programming. Opportunity K runs during the second semester of the school year and operates in the same manner as other district kindergarten programs. Opportunity K students have demonstrated a need for an extended kindergarten experience to prepare them for kindergarten in the fall.
