Teaching as a Profession 1 Honors

Course Description:  This honors level course is designed to encourage students to consider teaching as a career. Students are exposed to the many facets of education through class discussion, observation, and participation in public school classrooms. Students will examine their aptitudes for teaching, learner needs and development, including students with exceptionalities, and the history, trends, and governance of education.   

TaaP 1 Honors will be taught in the fall semester of 2025 at The COAST.  Students should consider pairing the course with Honors Child Development.
