Hispanic Heritage Month Reading Challenge. Students and staff are asked to read at least three titles that fall into any of the following categories:
A main character of Hispanic or Latin Heritage.
Written by authors of Hispanic or Latin Heritage.
Has a setting in a place of signifigance for the Hispanic or Latin population.
Fiction, and nonfiction county.
Audiobooks count as well!

A book or audiobook from Sora.
A book set in the past or future.
A book in verse, or of poetry.
An award winning book.

Maker Monday. Makerspace and the Meida Center are open for classes to add extra engagement with their curriculum.
Table of Contents Tuesday. Bring your class in to explore books or makerspace projects to to along with your curriculum.
AND
6th grade ELA classes will also come in alternating weeks for digital literacy lessons, and book checkout.
Wild-Card Search Wednesday. Digital Media and research literacy lessons based on content area, or anything your class needs.
Techy Thursday. Makerspace is open, as well as the Media Center for any class to sign up for.
AND
7th Grade ELA-. Alternating weeks of digital literacy that is aligned with the ELA curriculum and book check-out.
Fair-Use Fridays. Annotations, citations, and being proper consumers of media are key in all class settings.

8th Grade ELA. Alternating weeks of digital literacy that is aligned with the ELA curriculum and book check-out.
