Use photography to tell a story about a snow day—what it looks like, feels like, and means to you.
Take during the snow day
Photos may be taken Indoor and outside
Use (phone or camera is fine)
No heavy editing—basic crop/brightness only
Use different different settings such as "portrait"
– Capture the feeling of the snow day (quiet, cozy, lonely, joyful, bored, peaceful, etc.)
– Snow, frost, steam from a mug, window light, fabric, footprints, ice
– Someone (or something) doing an activity (shoveling, sledding, pet in snow, gaming, cooking)
– Small things most people overlook
– A photo taken from where you spent most of the day
– Warm vs. cold, inside vs. outside, dark vs. bright
–Something unexpected you noticed on a snow day
What story do your photos tell?
Which photo is the strongest and why?
What challenges did you face shooting in snow or low light?
Have fun With it!
