Online Learning
All students will participate in online learning for the first five weeks of the quarter, beginning September 14, 2020. During this time, the district will monitor the health trends of our community to determine when a return to face-to-face instruction would be appropriate and safe. The target date for a return to face-to-face instruction is October 12, 2020.

Revised Opening Dates
Staff reports on September 8-11, 2020 for professional development related to COVID safety procedures and instructional guidelines
Students begin online instruction on September 14, 2020. The district has set a target date for a return to face-to-face instruction on October 12, 2020

No Field Trips
No Large Group Student Events
No Athletics
No Extra-curricular band/choir/orchestra
Special Education Services may be adjusted
Attendance taken daily during Google Meet Classes
Students will follow a structured schedule at all levels
Teachers will instruct live, using Google Meet
Scheduling Structures
Teachers will work their scheduled work day, therefore allowing time before and after school for small group work, intervention and teacher collaboration
Our traditional grading procedures will be in place (classes will not be pass/fail)
Counselors will work with students in CCP, as well as student engagement

As a reminder, plans are “at this moment," and we will continue to re-evaluate and revise our plans based on evolving conditions, data about the status of the pandemic, and recommendations and guidance from public health authorities.
