"In the 3 semesters that I had this student, I had the honor and privilege of watching their passion for Spanish deepen with each class. Everyday they showed not only ready to contribute their all inside of the class, but oftentimes, explored their interests in Spanish outside of class as well. It is my honor to award this year’s Outstanding Spanish Student Award to Mikayla, La Cara, Hylemon. What a privilege it has been to watch you grow into such an outstanding young lady.
