I am so excited to begin my ninth year of teaching after graduating from Winthrop University with a degree in History. After graduation, I spent two years teaching World History, US History, & Yearbook in the state of South Carolina. This year will be my 7th year at Charles D. Owen High.

I currently live in Asheville, NC and enjoy spending my free time traveling, reading, and painting. Some interesting places that I have visited included Dominican Republic & Mexico. I hope to eventually travel through Europe, as well.

Here at Owen, I have had the honor of advising Student Government (2016-present) & the Yearbook Staff (2017-2020). I am currently serving as the History Department Chair and Senior Link Crew!
