American History II is a semester-long course that traces the political, social, cultural and economic developments of American history from Reconstruction to modern day events. Together we will analyze historical events and identify important themes present throughout the history of America. American History II counts as one social studies credit towards graduation. Daily lessons will consist of short lectures, video clips, discussion, debate, cooperative learning, as well as individual and group research.
