Discard Procedures

Equipment Discard procedure:

  1. Equipment that needs to be picked up, please fill out the Discard form for equipment and submit a BOLT ticket (not a Maintainance work order) with detailed equipment information (number and size) and pickup location.

  2. The technicians will put any computer information on the discard/transfer sheet and change inventory as needed.

  3. Technology Services will contact Maintenance for pick up and delivery to Technology Services as needed.

  4. Computers that are taken by the Technology team -no interaction needed. Techs will fill out the discard/transfer form that you have access to see and remove from inventory.

  5. Finance then removes AS 400 from that sheet.
