Audition Information

Auditions for The Lightning Thief will take place on Monday, August 24th & Tuesday, August 25th from 3:30-8:30pm in the GHS Choir Room. Prospective cast members can sign up for an audition slot on either Monday or Tuesday. The audition will include a prepared song, cold reading from the script and a possible dance audition call. You may choose one of the songs below for your audition. Please learn your song choice and the audition dance prior to the audition to the best of your ability! We also ask that you wear comfortable clothes you can move in and closed-toed shoes. If needed, callbacks will be held on at to be determined time. The final cast list will be posted to this website Wednesday evening.

When actors aren’t in the scene, they form the CHORUS, playing the Oracle’s ECHOES, Medusa’s STATUES, THE DEAD in the Underworld, etc. Ensemble singing will vary in styles from Broadway pop-rock to classic choral sounds.
