Go to Class Settings (gear icon on top right).
Find General -> Classwork in Stream.
Select Hide Notifications. This will hide all assignments in the Stream.

Find General -> Guardian Summaries.
Click the gray button to activate Guardian Summaries.

Look in the Stream header for Generate Meet link.
Click on the link to turn on Meet.
Note: If you don't want the Meet link visible to students when a meeting is not in session, go to the Settings icon, look under General, and turn off Visible to students. Repeat to turn the link on.
