Print Progress Report

  1. From Aeries main menu, you will see Pages, Reports, and Favorites.
  2. Select Reports -> Gradebook -> Progress by Student.
  3. Defaults:
    • Report Format -> PDF
    • Report Delivery -> None
    • All students
    • All teachers (junior high level)
    • Optional: Write a comment.
  4. Select Run Report and View Report.
  5. In the upper right corner, select the printer icon.

Progress Reports - Turn off Email

When printing or emailing Progress Reports, you can turn off the option to email a copy to yourself. Change Email with link to None.

Email Parent Updates

Teachers can email updates to any parent or guardian who has signed up for the Aeries Parent Portal.

  1. In Reports, select Gradebook Assignments by Student.
  2. Available options:
    • Select one or more classes.
    • Select all or a few assignments.
    • Select all or a few students.
  3. Select Email.

When I tested the email, I asked parents to email me back to verify this process worked. Here is one email. An email reminder that grades have been updated will help parents keep up to date on assignments.

Notes about Emailing Reports

It is should be noted that BCSD students do not have emails and, therefore, cannot view this report. However, their names will be listed in the summary email you will receive. Teachers should check their Spam email for parent replies. Make sure to Whitelist and Deliver parent emails.

Print Reports Deficiency Notices

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. Select Gradebook.
  3. Select Gradebook Assignments by Student.
  4. After selecting the class(es), click on the Options tab.
  5. Type of score. In this example, I wanted to print only reports for students who had 75% or lower.
  6. Select Run Report.
    • You can also select Email Parents if you know that these parents have signed for the Parent Portal.

Change Printable Area on Report

  1. Select the printer in the upper right corner.
  2. Click More Settings.
  3. Find Scale.
  4. Select Fit to printable area.
