Aeries + Google Classroom

You can connect Google Classroom with Aeries. At the beginning of a term, CREATE a Google Classroom. If you are in the middle of a term (like I am right now, LINK the Classroom with Aeries.

1. From the main page, find the class and select Add Website.
2. Click either CREATE or LINK.
3. In this example, I am linking the Classroom. Then I select the class.

On the Gradebook Dashboard, you should see the phrase Add Assignment on the far right. If you see Categories, then you need to add at least ONE category first.

1. On the Gradebook Dashboard, click on Add Assignment.
2. Type a name for the assignment.
3. Confirm the Category.
4. Assign Number Correct Points.
5. Use the TAB key to jump to the next box.
6. Click Save and Close.

Last summer, Google announced that gradebooks like Aeries will sync with Classroom. Until that happens, we need to IMPORT scores. This is still faster than hand inputting.

1. From the Aeries Gradebook Dashboard, select Add Assignment.
2. In Google Classroom, confirm that the assignment has been Returned to students.
3. Open the Assignment in Aeries.
4. Click on the down arrow.
5. Select Import from Google.
6. Select the Classroom and Assignment.

Errors will occur for students who do not have scores.
