Substitutes are needed on a daily basis. As a substitute, you will need to log into the Frontline Absence Management System to accept available assignments.

Substitutes are paid biweekly. Click HERE to see the pay schedule.
How many days in a month can a substitute work?
Substitutes are not required to work a minimum of days per semester, however, we highly encourage substitutes to accept assignments as often as possible to ensure all classes are covered in the absence of the teacher. If a substitute does not work at all during a single semester and has not communicated with the Sub Coordinator they may be dropped from the active list and will be required to go through the application process again if they wish to return to substitute teaching.
How are long term assignments offered to substitutes?
Long term assignments are assigned based on District needs, substitute availability and performance.
Do substitutes work during the summer?
No, substitutes are not needed in the classroom capacity, however, there are other opportunities available throughout the school corporation that can be applied for (custodial, iCare, food services, etc.).
