We are so excited to introduce our "One Book, One School" program to our Smith community this spring! Change Sings is more than a book; it's an idea that positive change in our community can begin at any age. We want to empower even our youngest students to work towards making our world a better place. We have included some articles and ideas on how you can work together on this project at home. Have an idea? Please share!
Send us updates, pictures, etc. on how your family is making your community a better place! Send updates to Lauren Parsons at parsonsl@bcsc.k12.in.us.
And please join us for Literacy Night at Smith Elementary on April 4th. Our students and staff will be sharing updates on how we are creating change!
This article is full of great ideas for community service projects that are appropriate for elementary students and families to work on.
Here's a beautiful musical rendition of the story!
