Mr. Parham

11th Grade Counselor

Mr. Herbert Parham will be entering his third year as school counselor at Digital Harbor High School.Mr. Parham is a native of Dinwiddie, Virginia. He attended and graduated from Dinwiddie Senior High School in 1987. After high school he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Virginia Union University while playing on the men’s varsity football team. During his coaching tenure at Hampton University, he furthered his education by earning a master’s degree in counseling. He has extensively served as a mentor throughout the cities of Hampton and Newport News, VA and a motivational speaker in both Virginia and Maryland. At Digital Harbor, Mr. Parham facilitates students toward college and careers via educational, social and emotional guidance.

Originally from outside Philadelphia (Go EAGLES!), I came to Baltimore for college. I left after college but could not stay away and I moved back permanently in 2014. I love living and teaching in Baltimore City and I'm super excited to get to know the Digital Harbor High School Class of 2024! In my free time, I love trying out new restaurants and coaching an age-group swim team.
