Once educators have requested & received a City Schools Managed Apple ID, this account should be used to install free instructional apps from the App Store.
For paid apps, contact ITD for support.
Educators can compile a list of requested educational apps to be installed remotely on a classroom set of Student iPads.
How?
Use THE SPREADSHEET TEMPLATE to gather iPad and app information.
Submit a HEAT ticket (New Incident to ITD Service Support Center) including the spreadsheet to request apps to be pushed to your student iPads.
Deleting apps can be as simple has hold-click and delete. There are, however, some settings to consider to prevent students from deleting apps. The guide on the right shows how to choose Allow or Don't Allow deleting apps.
