Arachnophobia
BRIEF: Develop and produce an original short film in one month to pass Big Creative Education's Level 3 Production Course.
ROLE: Director, producer, writer, storyboard artist, animator, actor, voice actor, cameraman, Foley artist, video editor.
SOFTWARE USED: Clip Studio Paint
You can see the original storyboard I drew for my first film, Arachnophobia, on the right. Due to time constraints, the final film ended up being a lot shorter than what I originally planned here, but I am still satisfied with the final result. This storyboard does match exactly with the original script I wrote for this film.

Opening of the Iliad (WIP)
BRIEF: Currently storyboarding the opening of Homer's Iliad
ROLE: Storyboard artist, 2D animator, Director
SOFTWARE USED: Clip Studio Paint, TVPaint Animation
As part of my dream goal to one day create an anime-style adaptation of Homer's Iliad, I've started storyboarding this epic text from line 1, book 1.
On the right you can see my rough storyboard animatic for the lips of the Muse breathing out whisps of inspiration which float down from the heavens to a Mycenaean banquet where Homer is performing. He breathes in the inspiration, gains memories and knowledge of the Trojan War, which prompts tears to fall, and then he will begin singing the poem.
Paris vs. Menelaus (WIP)
BRIEF: Currently animating a fight scene between Menelaus and Paris based on Homer's Iliad book 3.
ROLE: Storyboard artist, 2D animator, Director
SOFTWARE USED: Clip Studio Paint, TVPaint Animation
As part of my dream goal to one day create an anime-style adaptation of Homer's Iliad, I've started working on animating a fight scene between the Greek King Menelaos and the Trojan prince, Paris, as they duel to see who shall get to keep Helen, the most beautiful woman in the world, as their wife.
Here you can see my rough storyboard animatic for the entire fight scene. Menelaos throws a spear at Paris who tries to block it with his shield, but the spear rips through it and gashes Paris' side. Paris buckles to one knee, grits his teeth, then glares at Menelaos ready to strike back.
