For excellent instruction to happen across the school, teams of teachers need to collaborate to share and build expertise. This can be accomplished in common planning time teams, professional learning communities, grade level, or content teams depending on the configuration of the school.
Strong facilitation (can be teacher led, coach led, or admin led)
Dedicated meeting times built into the schedule

Engage in the following practices connected to the Vision of Excellent Instruction:
Looking at student work (LASW)
Data analysis and planning for reteaching
Unit planning
Role playing & receiving feedback on lesson segments
Video study
Clear trajectory and arc for the work of the team grounded in the vision for excellent instruction and acting in cohesion with the other components of the system, following the ILT
Build a schedule that allows for collaboration
Assign strong facilitator to each team
Provide training and ongoing support to facilitators in developing effective teams and leading the types of practices listed above
Monitor and provide feedback to teams and to facilitator
