Consider a second concentration: Some students find they have space to add another concentration - or even a minor outside of the Carroll School. Visit the Concentration page to learn more about your options and check out the minors here.
Declare your concentrations: If you haven't already, you can do so at tinyurl.com/csomdeclare.
Connect with your faculty advisor: You've been assigned a faculty advisor within your concentration area. You can find their name on the Portal and reach out to them with questions about concentration classes.
Find out what classes you can take abroad: Your staff advisor can provide insight into what requirements can be fulfilled by study abroad courses.
Get your courses approved: To get courses approved for abroad, you'll need to follow the steps on the Study Abroad page.
Double check your requirements: Review your degree audit and visit the University Core, Management Core, and Concentration Requirements.
Update your 4 Year Plan: Revisit your 4 year plan and make changes based on new concentrations and study abroad courses.
Get elective recommendations: Ask the Peer Advisors or older students for suggestions. You can also consider taking a class with a professor you admire or exploring a new subject area.
Plan your senior year courses: Aim to have no more than 10 remaining requirements by the end of junior year to avoid overloading or taking summer courses.
Brush up on your skills: Learn about internship search strategies so you are using all the tools and resources you have available to you.
Meet with a Carroll School Career Advisor: Make an appointment with a career advisor in Fulton 315.
Network with alumni: Connect with alumni in the career field that interests you.
Practice for interviews: Use resources like Big Interview and update your STAR stories with new experiences.
Connect with BC alumni at your internship: Once you have accepted an offer, seek out other BC alumni and professionals in other divisions at the company.

Visit the 4 Year Career Advising Plan: The 4 Year Career Advising Sheet provides more suggestions of what you can be doing in your junior year.
Get to know your professors: Sign up for "Take Home Professor" or "Lunch with a Professor" when they are announced in This Week in CSOM.
Take on leadership roles: As you move into senior year, get involved with student organizations and BC departments.
Apply for a senior year position: Consider applying to be a Peer Advisor or Portico Teaching Assistant; applications open in the spring.
Add to your wellness toolkit: Set up a session with a Wellness Coach in the Center for Student Wellness.
