The Peer Advisors are a group of seniors in the Carroll School who act as an extension of our academic and career advising teams. They can offer the advice and guidance only those with first-hand experience can provide!

James (he/him/his) is dual concentrating in both Finance and Accounting for Finance and Consulting, and has a minor in Managing for Social Impact. This summer, he’s interning in the Investment Banking Division at Citizens Bank and spending his free time exploring New York City and trying new restaurants. At BC, James is looking forward to living in the Mods and meeting new people through his campus organizations. He is Co-President of the Philippine Society of Boston College and participates in Intramural Sports.
James’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “I love all the career events that CSOM has. Whether it's a table in the Fulton atrium or a professional panel, these events are a great way to learn about career development.”
One thing James wishes he knew when he was a sophomore: “Your personal brand is super important! Having a strong brand can make a huge difference in networking, interviews, or even just navigating the job search process.”
Here’s a fun fact about James: “I was once pictured in Vogue!”
Andre (he/him) is a Finance concentration in the Carroll School. This summer, Andre is a Global Markets Summer Analyst at Barclays. Andre is looking forward to his senior year, especially living in the Mods, game days and getting back into the campus rhythm after abroad. On campus, Andre is involved in the Campus Activities Board and Sales & Trading Association
Andre's favorite thing about CSOM: "The professors and advisors! They truly care and go out of their way to share their knowledge and support your growth."
Andre's advice for underclassmen: "Network with the BC alumni and meet with your career advisors. Make this process as fun as possible, get to know the person you are speaking with, and take it easy. Don’t focus on the title of an industry, but what actually brings you interest. You will find a lot more success when it comes natural to you."
Here's a fun fact about Andre: "I ran the 2025 London Marathon — a Guinness World Record for the most runners ever!"
Justin (he/him) is a Finance concentration student. This summer, he’s working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Moelis & Company. Outside of work, he’s training for a half marathon, exploring NYC, and trying out new restaurants. At BC, Justin is involved in the Investment Banking Association, Chestnut Hill Run Club, Intramural Softball (3x champions), and Black Business at Boston College.
Justin’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The CSOM core. Having the opportunity to take a diverse range of courses has been amazing. It has allowed me to explore a variety of subjects while also meeting new friends with different backgrounds and career goals.”
Advice for underclassmen in CSOM: “Take advantage of all the speaker opportunities in CSOM and at Boston College. We're fortunate to have access to a wide range of accomplished professionals in a variety of different industries.”
Here’s a fun fact about Justin: “I have been on 13 Disney cruises!
Jimmy (he/him) is concentrating in Finance and Business Analytics. This summer, he’s working as a Trade Coordinator at Wellington Management. Outside of work, he’s enjoying time with friends and family and heading to the beach. Jimmy is looking forward to tailgates and living back on campus with his friends during his senior year. On campus, he’s involved in the Investment Club, works as a Business Statistics grader, and is a TA for Applied Statistical Modeling.
Jimmy’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The connections you can make with professors.”
One thing Jimmy wishes he knew when he was a sophomore: “Nobody knows what they are doing; don't be afraid if you don't have everything figured out.”
Here’s a fun fact about Jimmy: “My first job was shucking oysters at a restaurant!”
Katherine (she/her) is concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Philosophy. This summer, she’s working as a Finance Intern at Dell Technologies and spending time with family on Nantucket. Looking ahead to senior year, Katherine is excited to reunite with friends who were abroad and make the most of her final year at BC. On campus, she serves as a Student Leader for 4Boston.
Katherine’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The network! Everyone in CSOM wants to help you succeed and is always available for any academic or career questions.”
One thing Katherine wishes she knew when she was a sophomore: “Say yes to every event on campus! You never know what you may be interested in, and it's a great way to meet new people.”
Here’s a fun fact about Katherine: “This past winter, I went skydiving in the Swiss Alps!”
Paul (he/him) is pursuing a Finance concentration. This summer, Paul is working in New York City as a Real Estate Banking Summer Analyst at Wells Fargo. Outside of his internship, he’s looking forward to exploring the city with friends. This upcoming school year, Paul is looking forward to relishing and taking advantage of every last moment as a student. On campus, Paul is the Vice President of the Real Estate Club, a Co-Director of the Real Estate Association, a member of the Undergraduate Council for the Corcoran Center for Real Estate & Urban Action, and part of the Arrupe Immersion Program (Migration/Dominican Republic).
Paul’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “I love that the culture isn’t solely focused on business, but on how we can holistically use our education to serve others and contribute to the common good.”
One thing Paul wishes he knew when he was a sophomore: “It’s okay not to have everything figured out. The best opportunities often come from putting yourself out there and being open to learning.”
Here’s a fun fact about Paul: “I studied abroad in Madrid and had an incredible experience. I’m always happy to chat with anyone considering studying abroad!”
Esosa (she/her) is majoring in Business Analytics with a minor in Sociology. This summer, she’s working as a Strategy Summer Scholar at Deloitte. Looking ahead to senior year, Esosa is excited to create lasting memories with her closest friends and embrace the year with no expectations. On campus, she’s involved in the African Students Organization, Synergy Hip Hop Dance Company, SAP, and Jamaica Magis.
Esosa’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The endless opportunities for growth and development—not only professionally but also personally—and the supportive professors and faculty.”
One thing Esosa wishes she knew when she was a sophomore: “To network to explore different business careers, instead of only seeing networking as a part of the recruiting process. You can miss out on jobs that best align with your interests, skills, and values.”
Here’s a fun fact about Esosa: “I played the trumpet for 7 years!!!”
Alyssa (she/her) is concentrating in Finance with a minor in Philosophy. This summer, she’s working as a Management Consulting Intern at PwC. She’s most looking forward to reuniting with her friends after studying abroad in Venice and cheering at the BC vs. Notre Dame football game. On campus, Alyssa is involved in the Fulton Leadership Society, Campus Activities Board, and BC Bigs.
Alyssa’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The professors! They are outstanding resources and incredibly knowledgeable beyond the classes they’re teaching.”
One thing Alyssa wishes she knew when she was a sophomore: “You're at BC not just to study your major or minor, but to learn about yourself, too!”

Arnav (he/him) is concentrating in Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in Computer Science. This summer, he’s working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Nomura, while also golfing and spending time with friends. Next year, Arnav is looking forward to exploring more of Boston. On campus, he’s been involved with the Investment Banking Association (IBA), BC BIGS, and works as a Research Assistant with Professor Liu.
Arnav’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The people I get to meet in different classes.”

Zoe (she/her) is concentrating in Finance and Accounting for Finance and Consulting, with a minor in Philosophy. This summer, she’s working as a Private Banking Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan and spending time with her family. Zoe is most looking forward to reuniting with friends and connecting with new people in her final year at BC. On campus, she’s involved with Bowman Advocates and serves as a Compass Mentor.

Sam (she/her) is concentrating in Finance and Operations with minors in Global Public Health and Philosophy. This summer, she’s working as a Wealth Management Intern at Morgan Stanley, helping develop a nutrition-based start-up, traveling extensively, and enjoying time reading in random parks. Next year, Sam is most excited for hockey season, apple picking with her roommates, and all the fun senior-year traditions. On campus, she’s involved in Eagles for Diabetes, Entrepreneurs for Social Impact, The Gavel, WIN Mentoring, and the BC Consulting Club.
Sam’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “If you have an idea, there is always someone around the corner to help you get closer to making it a reality. I love the amazing support system.”
Advice for underclassmen in CSOM: “There is no one ‘right’ way to accomplish your goals! The path to becoming who you want to be is never linear, but it is paved by showing up for yourself and others!”

Thomas (he/him) is concentrating in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Philosophy and Theology. This summer, Thomas is working in Financial Consulting at RSM. He’s especially looking forward to returning to campus next year and experiencing senior year alongside his entire class. At BC, Thomas is involved in Club Golf, works as a Sales Associate with BC’s Institute of Advanced Jesuit Studies, and participates in Campus Ministry, Intramurals, and the St. Thomas More Society.
Thomas’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “Amazing professors and advisors are always willing to help.”

Rithika (she/her) is concentrating in Business Analytics and Information Systems. This summer, she’s working as a Business Analyst Intern at Amazon in Atlanta. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing tennis. Rithika is especially looking forward to Senior Week next year. On campus, she is Co-President of Unheard Narratives, a book club at BC, and is also a member of SASA and STITCH.

Advice for underclassmen in CSOM: “Get familiar with all of the different resources BC and CSOM have to offer and take advantage of them.”

David (he/him) is pursuing Finance and Information Systems concentrations with minors in History and Philosophy. This summer, David is working as a Debt and Structured Finance Intern at CBRE. Looking ahead to his final year at BC, he’s excited to spend quality time with friends and hang out in the Mods. On campus, David is involved in the Real Estate Club and the Real Estate Association, and he also works various on-campus jobs.
David’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The professors are all smart and willing to share their expertise with you to better you.”
Advice for underclassmen in CSOM: “Be your own person and follow your own path”.

Alexa (she/her/hers) is concentrating in Finance and Accounting for Finance & Consulting, with a minor in History. This summer, she’s working as a Corporate Finance Summer Associate at Berkeley Research Group, while also enjoying time on Cape Cod and trying new restaurants in Boston. Next year, Alexa is most excited to live in the Mods with her best friends. On campus, she’s involved as a TA for the Business Analytics Department (Statistical Analysis) and works with the Student Admissions Program.
Alexa’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “Spending time in Fulton 315 and forming close relationships with professors, advisors, and peers.”
One thing Alexa wishes she knew when she was a sophomore: “Everyone’s academic and professional paths are different; there’s no need to compare yourself to others.”
Here’s a fun fact about Alexa: “I can juggle a soccer ball 1,200+ times in a row with my feet!”
Peter (he/him) is concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship. This summer, he’s working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Provident Healthcare Partners and traveling when he can, including trips to the Hamptons, Montauk, and a post-internship getaway. Peter is especially looking forward to tailgating in the Mods during his final year at BC. On campus, he serves as Co-President of the BC Real Estate Club, Vice President of the BC Finance Academy, and is part of the Investment Banking Fellows program.

Matthew is pursuing concentrations in FInance and Accounting, with a minor in HIstory. This summer, Matthew is interning at PWC Boston in Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) group, explored Boston, and played golf. This year, Matthew is most looking forward to football tailgates. On campus, Matthew is involved in BC Real Estate Club and Boston College Stock Talk.
Matthew's favorite thing about the Carroll School: “My favorite thing about CSOM is the professors, staff, and advisors. They really take the time to get to know you and care about your success, both in and out of the classroom.”
One thing Matthew wishes he knew when he was a sophomore: “Upperclassmen, beyond just peer advisors, are often happy to help and can be a great resource when it comes to internships and classes, since they’ve recently been through those same experiences themselves.”
Here’s a fun fact about Matthew: “I’ve been to four continents and over a dozen countries.”
Alyssa (she/her/hers) is concentrating in Finance and Accounting for Finance & Consulting. This summer, she works as a Commercial Underwriting Intern at Liberty Mutual. She’s excited to return to campus for her final year at BC, spend time with friends, and make the most of senior year. On campus, Alyssa is a Study Abroad Ambassador.
Alyssa’s favorite thing about the Carroll School: “The professors are my favorite part of CSOM—every professor is so supportive and genuinely cares about their students' engagement. Also, the pop-up cookies!”
Advice for underclassmen in CSOM: “Do not hesitate to reach out to professors, upperclassmen, alumni or any other on campus resources to explore your interests, both academic and career-wise. There are so many great resources to draw from, and it's also a good practice to start networking early.”
