Anxiety Fluctuation in High School Distance Athletes

Hello! I'm Gabriel Krenisky. I am performing a study looking into the behavior of anxiety in distance runners immediately before an 800m race.

Open to participants who have participated in at least one season of endurance sports during high school such as Cross Country or Track & Field.

In this study, you will first be directed to complete a form analyzing any symptoms of anxiety a participant may exhibit at the outset of the study. Afterwards you will run an 800m with all participants at the track. Finally, we will come back inside to complete a second survey.

This should only take about an hour. You can claim this experiment as service hours for use in NHS, Key Club, etc. Snacks will also be provided at the conclusion of the study.

Date: Saturday, January 27th

Location: Room 149
