Student Reflection and Evaluation

On Looking Back

Cranton (2006) and Mezirow (2003) believe that critical self-reflection is a crucial component of transformative learning and that, in fact, transformative learning cannot occur without it. It is not about how I learn or what I am learning about technology; it is instead about who I am as a person. Has that perception of myself changed as I have participated in an online course? --Palloff, R. M., & Pratt, K. (2007). She explains how reflection can help students connect what they are learning in the classroom with their future goals and the world around them."

It's interesting how this video is talking about younger students, making a point that reflection should be a part of the education process every step of the way.
