The initiative to digitize procurement at Bahrain Bayan School (BBS) was developed in-house by our Tech team to bring efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and cost savings across all related processes. Through data-driven insights, this system supports informed decision-making that drives cost optimization. Streamlining workflows and reducing reliance on manual paperwork minimizes errors and enhances accountability, all while offering increased transparency.

This in-house system also strengthens vendor management by automating order placement and inventory tracking. In Phase 1 of the Procurement System, we focus on establishing centralized order placement and tracking essential school items, including supplies, books, and other resources. This phase includes defining specific order types and creating detailed flowcharts for each to ensure clarity and consistency.

Additionally, we are setting up a centralized warehouse by utilizing existing staff and collecting surplus supplies from around the school, creating a more organized and accessible inventory system tailored to BBS's unique needs.
