Giftedness impacts a person's entire life. The brain of a gifted child is wired differently from the average person. There are many positive aspects to being gifted, but there are also many challenges. Gifted children are often aware of their differences, but cannot explain them, which can negatively impact their self-confidence.
Ms. Craft will be using "The Gifted Kids Workbook" by Heather Boorman to help your child gain a better understanding of their unique gifts and learn essential strategies to help regulate their emotions, manage anxiety, improve mood, and navigate social relationships.
Ms. Craft will be teaching 3rd and 4th grade classroom lessons in the ASPIRE program once a month over the course of the school year.
