Your building's Secretary and Instructional Coach: These folks have the ability to solve most issues with minimal wait time. If they need more help, they will submit a work order so we can look at your opportunity together and find the best solution.

I'm new to NWEA and I can't see Manage Test Sessions!
Your Instructional Coach is a School Assessment Coordinator and can add the Proctor role to your profile
I have students who are showing in Skyward, but not on my MAP Roster!
Your first step is to check with your building secretary. They will check to ensure everything in Skyward is accurate and updated and if they need more, they will submit a work order on your behalf
What happens if a student loses their Internet connection in the middle of a test?
The test will automatically be suspended and you will be able to add them back into your test session to resume testing once they are reconnected. Check out slide number 17 on the this slide presentation for more information
I see a Create Student button in my Test Session. Can I just add a student who is missing?
NO! Please do not add any students who are not available in your roster. Doing so will create duplicate accounts for the student and may cause a loss of data. If a student is missing, please see the second bullet point above
MAP Growth product updates
COMING SOON! More ways for admins to download the Family report [Beta]
The MAP® Growth™ Family report is an essential tool for communicating student results to their families and caregivers. To help save time and facilitate the batch distribution of the Family report, NWEA® is releasing new download functionality in October 2025 for the following user roles:
Administrator
School assessment coordinator
District assessment coordinator
These user roles will be able to export reports batched by teacher and class at each individual school, multiple schools, or across the entire district. They will also have more options for structuring and naming the download for the MAP Growth Family report.
Please visit NWEA Connection for more detailed product updates, FAQs, and recommended resources including this teacher toolkit for communicating with families.
Discontinuation of Firefox browser
NWEA is discontinuing support for the Mozilla Firefox browser due to low usage and increasing technical limitations. This change will help focus on browsers that provide the most consistent and secure experience for our users. Learn more here.
New NWEA login page
The new MAP Growth login page introduces a smarter, more secure, and streamlined authentication experience. By leveraging a modern identity platform, the system now automatically detects how users are rostered and directs them to the appropriate login path. This will improve the overall user experience. We have introduced several key updates outlined below, focusing on simplifying login processes, enhancing clarity, and improving accessibility. Learn more here.
2025 norms now available in MAP Growth
