1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module presents you with further opportunity to develop your personal practice and presentation and illustration skills through beginning to plan your professional fashion portfolio. You will also work collaboratively with an international brand and engage in group work to develop trend ideas.
2.Outline syllabus:
This module helps develop your ability to take a creative approach to communicate and document your work in a professional fashion portfolio and explore your design identity in response to industry briefs. You will have opportunity to refine your digital and traditional techniques and their appropriate use in a portfolio presentation as well as be encouraged to take creative risks and to experiment within a commercial context.
Fashion forecasting will also be explored and you will have the opportunity to gather information, critically analyse findings and present trend ideas professionally as a group using digital media, visual and verbal presentation skills.
You will also be supported through seminars and workshops to present your skills to industry professionals including interview techniques, developing a CV, intellectual property and a project suitable to be mailed out or sent online.
