1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module combines and extends the technical knowledge and understanding of semiotics gained in the Semester 1 modules ‘Branding Identity and Promotion’ and ‘Video Production’. You will attend a series of lectures which introduces you to interdisciplinary theories and concepts relating to audio - vision. You will apply this knowledge to your own creative work, undertaking practical projects which effectively combine your musical outputs with visual elements.
2.Outline syllabus
A broad understanding of key aspects of relevant visual culture including fine art, photography and film
An introduction to key theories, concepts and practice relating to connections between sight and sound
Facilitation of practical multimedia projects

Practical projects
Regular reviews of practical projects including specialist workshop and one to one tutorials
