1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module investigates biological systems in plants and animals. It aims to help you gain an understanding of the importance of key themes such as communication, homeostasis and adaptations.
2. Outline syllabus
Focussing on key biological systems we compare how plants and animals, including humans, have particular structural adaptations that relate to important functions that must be carried out. For example, we consider communication inside the organism including plant growth factor, nervous systems, and animal hormones.
