1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module introduces you to the practice of collaborative design. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of different partners on a design project to explore diverse briefs and agendas beyond the core output of your design practice.
Working in small groups, you will be asked to respond to a design brief that meets the needs of an external client, organisation, or similar professional opportunity such as an international design competition. You will be asked to consider the client’s requirements and the feasibility of the proposed project at the outset in the evaluation of various design aspects. The module challenges you to produce work to an appropriately high standard, and to work within professional discipline.
