1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module will introduce you to the roles and responsibilities of an architect, and the business of architectural practice.
You will be introduced to professionalism through the duties of an architect: to yourself and others within your office, to the client and user, and to the profession and the wider world. This will be explored through the codes of conduct, structures, laws, and organisations governing professional practice; the management and economics of the office; and the ethics and responsibilities required of professional architects.
