1. Brief description and aims of module:
This module will introduce you to work across urban scales. You will have the opportunity to plan and work at different scales through connected design studio projects, exploring the relationships and impacts of operating between urban scales.The module will usually involve case studies of informal and programmed design at each level, and the application of what you have learned through previous design projects.Your practical work will develop in complexity and continue to build visual, technical, and contextual references through your research and documentation.

Masterplanning, urban design and placemaking
Ideation and creative problem solving
Independent and group working

Personal planning
Documentation of process
3.Teaching and learning activities
