7th and 8th graders get to experience Theatre in a 9-week session as part of the Elective Wheel (Theatre, Shop, Coding and Music). We participate in acting warm-ups and drama games, explore improvisation, create characters through comedic and dramatic group acting and solo scenes, explore script writing and direct/act with elementary students in a Readers Theater performance at the end of the 9-weeks. With these theatre activities, we hope to build confidence, creativity and character in all of our students here at Idaho City Middle School.
