Welcome to the Bantucola team! We are thrilled to have you join us as an intern and excited about the contributions you will make to our mission of supporting Black-owned businesses and advocating for equity and social change within our community.

As an intern at Bantucola, you are becoming a vital part of a dynamic organization committed to addressing issues like gentrification, displacement, and the economic challenges that Black entrepreneurs face. Your unique skills and passion will help further our efforts to create opportunities, raise awareness, and advocate for the success and growth of Black-owned businesses across the Gulf Coast.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to impactful projects, and develop your professional skills while working alongside a team of dedicated individuals who are equally passionate about empowering Black entrepreneurs. Here’s how you’ll be able to contribute:

• Assist with Program Development – Help design and implement programs that provide valuable resources and support to Black-owned businesses.

• Support Community Outreach – Engage with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to build relationships and promote Bantucola’s initiatives and events.

• Contribute to Advocacy Efforts – Work alongside our team to raise awareness about key issues like gentrification, displacement, and economic disparities, and support Bantucola’s advocacy campaigns.

• Provide Administrative Support – Assist with day-to-day operations, such as managing communications, scheduling meetings, and organizing events, to ensure the smooth functioning of Bantucola’s activities.

• Help with Event Planning and Execution – Participate in planning and coordinating events, fundraisers, and community programs that further Bantucola’s mission and outreach.
