There was a “trial” on behalf of the Romanov's, specifically Nicholas, to keep the title of Tsar, however it had only led to their captivity and soon death and this had helped lead Russia into chaos.
”Two years earlier, Nicholas had been forced from the throne by a provisional democratic government.”” (the Riddle of the Romanovs.)………..”intending to place the tsar on trial, the Bolsheviks had moved Nicholas to the town of Ekaterinburg on the slopes of the Ural Mountains.”” (the Riddle of the Romanovs.)………..”Fearing that the White army would free the tsar, the local Bolshevik command, with Lenin's approval, had decided to kill the tsar and his entire family.”” (the Riddle of the Romanovs.)……………”Eventually, he had to flee Russia when the White armies were defeated and the Bolsheviks gained control of the entire country.” (the Riddle of the Romanov's.)
The trial had given the Bolsheviks an easy way to imprison the Romanov's, they had taken over a two story mansion and forced into “hiding” making them vulnerable. They had hoped that with the fighting going on they would be freed by the white army, and with this hope there sparked a fear in Bolshevik and they turned to take action. The whole reason they fell is due to hatred for a family line and following their death there was fear and hatred due to the continued war.
It's a more recent photo of the communist party.
