Virtual Computer Build

Description

In this project we made our dream computer build on PCPartPicker, the task was to select 10 components that would go in your computer. The components that would go into the computer are the CPU, Power Supply, Motherboard, Memory, Video Card, Storage, Case, CPU Cooler, and OS, these components are essential for the computer to run.

My Computer Build

For my computer build, I picked out all the highest review components on PCPartPicker, some of the components that I had chosen were expensive, for instance, the Video card was $499.99, and the least expensive component was the Storage which was $36.99, The total price of my build came down to $1,614.36

This is the CPU , it is called AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor

This is the Motherboard, it is a MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard

This is the Memory, it is a Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

This is Video Card, it is a NVIDIA Founders Edition GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB Video Card

This is the case, it is a Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case

This is the Power Supply, it is a Corsair RM750 (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

This the storage, it is a Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive

This is the CPU Cooler, it is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

This is the OS, it is a Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM - DVD 64-bit

Lessons Learned

I have learned that there are many components that go in a computer, which are essential for the computer/pc to function, and how you choose to want goes in it. When I was looking through the components, I was not expecting the prices that they would go for, but it was fun building my dream computer.
