Sophia's first idea was inspired by the mammoth. She added alien-like features to make it stand out. Its fur was a main point of survival for this creature because it would have the same effect as the Poison Dart Frog. It is so colourful that the predators don't want to have it for lunch!!To prevent it from slipping on the ice the Rainbow Giant has suction pads on the bottom of its paws. The animal's tail can grow up to 1.5 meters long.
Mila's first idea was a otter with color changing fur. It can grow up to 1-2m. We went with Mila's idea and added a few features from Sophia's animal such as wings to help propel itself in the water. Its tail is big and fluffy so it can wrap itself in it to keep warm. Some of its adaptations include a blue pouch on its belly to store fish when it goes swimming so its paws are free to catch more. Its fur can change colour depending on its surroundings.
This is Milee's first idea. Milee's creature has become the predator for our animal. It had yellow green glowing wings it is the most feared predator for our creature, the Blue Glowing Otter. Its eyes glow the colour of lava. the long red claws placed on its feet are used to rip apart its prey. Thick white fur covers its body to help it blend into the snow and sneak up on its prey. Two long pointy ears pop out of its head, matching the colour of its wings.
The babies don't have wings when they are born, or when they're one, two, three, or four. They grow mini wings when they turn five. When they are young the babies have two tails. Once they turn 5 the non glowing one falls off. The parents help the babies to learn some main skills they need in life such as swimming and hunting. To help show the babies how to swim, the parents do a little performance of flips and turns in the water! This motivates the babies to keep going.
The female otter gives birth to live young. They have smaller wings than the male and its tail is a darker shade of blue. While the mother is giving birth she relies on the male to bring home food. The difference between females and males is that the males tail is shorter than the females. Every otter has a blue glowing gem that gives them their name. The gem is placed on a different spot on every otter.
Males are trusted to be the strongest. When a predator threatens a family the male stands forward and does a show with their whiskers. The male thwacks its tail on the ground for a beat and then its whiskers glow different shades of blue in time with the music. Males are the best at hunting in the family. Their technique is amazing.
Planet X is home to a huge variety of alien-type creatures that exist on this cold, frozen planet. One of the most fascinating of these creatures is the Blue Glowing Otter. This amazing mammal, scientifically named Hyacintho Ardenti Luter, has adapted to thrive in the harsh conditions of Planet X. Here are some key points about this remarkable creature.
The Blue Glowing Otter is a master swimmer, thanks to several adaptations. It has strong wings on its back that help propel it through the water at speeds of up to 150 kilometres per hour. To protect itself from predators, the otter has blue glowing whiskers that are poisonous and can electrocute predators, even if it's twice its size. This creature can grow up to 2 metres long.
Other adaptations include its super sticky claws, which help it climb rocky mountains and rough surfaces. During winter, it grows a new, thicker coat to stay warm, a process it can sense from late summer. Its fur changes colour depending on its habitat: blue in water and white on land to match the snow.
The Blue Glowing Otter also has exceptional eyesight, allowing it to see up to 1 kilometre away. To combat the extreme cold, it has a 3-metre-long tail that it wraps around its body for warmth. It gives birth to live young, typically three babies a year, which it keeps warm by wrapping them in its tail. Babies rely on their parents for food and protection for the first three years. The wings, a distinguishing feature, only sprout when they turn five years old.
Females are larger and have longer tails than males. Every otter is born with a unique gemstone on its body, located in a different spot for each individual.
The Blue Glowing Otter inhabits the Crystalized Valley, located in the northernmost part of Planet X. The valley is named after the crystal waterfall, the primary water source in the region, which attracts many animals. The waterfall feeds a stream that runs through the middle of the valley, lined with glowing pine trees coated in snow.
Every night, a blood moon illuminates the valley, aiding the otters' vision. Once every four years, two moons appear, one smaller than the other but of the same color. The days are much shorter and the nights longer, as most creatures in the north are nocturnal.
The Blue Glowing Otter has a large pouch on its belly to store food and fish while hunting, freeing its paws to catch more prey. Its diet includes fish, insects, spiders, and water plants such as zooplankton and phytoplankton.
The most feared predator of the Blue Glowing Otter is the Winged Fox. Standing at 3 meters tall, 1 meter taller than the otter, the Winged Fox has green and yellow wings for aerial hunting and long red claws to rip apart its prey.
The Blue Glowing Otter is a testament to the incredible adaptations that can evolve in response to a snowy, cold climate. This icy creature has successfully mastered its environment on Planet X, showcasing a range of unique and fascinating traits.

The Blue Glowing Otter lives in a majestical place called The crystallized Valley. Every 4 years there is 2 moons. One is a blood moon and one is a silver moon. In the center of the valley there is the crystal waterfall. Pine trees coated in snow border the river. Night after night you would look up to millions of glowing stars staring back down at you.
This is what the Stone of Ice looks like. An aqua blue gemstone dangles off a thick piece of white rope. During the winter it changes to a darker blue colour. The legend of it is below.
There was a time when the Glowing Otters lived peacefully along the icy rivers and frosty landscapes of Planet X. The otters were known for their playful nature and the deep bond they shared with the frozen wilderness around them. However, what set them apart the most was the radiant blue glow emanating from the necklaces they wore around their necks.
One day, a curious young otter named Orin ventured to the base of the Great Waterfall. The waterfall was said to be the heart of Planet X, where the water sparkled with an otherworldly light even in the coldest temperatures. As Orin played and explored, he noticed a faint blue light shimmering beneath the icy water. Intrigued, he dove into the pool and discovered a magnificent blue gemstone.
Upon retrieving the gemstone, Orin felt a strange warmth and energy course through his body. He brought the gemstone back to his tribe, and they quickly realized that this gemstone held incredible powers. When they wore it around their necks, it kept them warm in the coldest of nights and protected them with a blue flame when they were in danger.
The otters were mystified by the source of the gemstone's power. Wise elders of the tribe speculated that the energy came from the inner core of Planet X, where a blue flame burned eternally. This flame was believed to be the lifeblood of the planet, imbuing the gemstones with its mystical properties.
As time went on, the gemstones became a symbol of the otters' identity and strength. It became a tradition that when otter pups were born, they would embark on a rite of passage. When they were strong enough, they would journey to the top of the mountain to the Great Waterfall.
In a ceremony filled with songs and blessings, the young otters would dive into the crystal waters of the waterfall to retrieve their own glowing gemstones. This act was seen as a testament to their bravery and readiness to embrace the powers of the necklace.
The necklaces were not just symbols; they were powerful talismans. They kept the otters warm and protected in the harsh environments. When threatened, the necklaces would light up, surrounding the otters in a protective blue flame. This flame was not only a shield but also a beacon, signaling to other otters that one of their own was in danger.
To this day, the Glowing Otters of Planet X carry on this tradition. The blue glow of their necklaces is a reminder of their connection to the mystical forces of their planet and the courage it takes to earn such a precious gift. Each otter wears their necklace with pride, knowing it is a symbol of their heritage and the extraordinary powers they possess.
And so, the legend of the Glowing Otter's Necklace continues to be passed down through generations, a tale of discovery, bravery, and the enduring bond between the otters and the magical, icy planet they call home.

Here is the Blue Glowing Otters predator... The Winged Fox.
This creature is 3.5 meters tall and its tail is 2 meters long. One of the main uses of its tail is swinging it back and forth trying to smash and break all the bones in the Otters body!! Like this it's easier to kill. On its forehead is a yellow stone which they are born with. The winged fox lays 3 eggs a year. When the baby hatches a piece of the egg sticks to its forehead. Each is a different colour.
