Welcome to Exploration in Ag!

This is a semester long class the provides eighth graders and high schoolers to learn the fundamental concepts in agriculture to serve as a foundation for future courses. It will also inform them about the industry that is so vital to society and their future. Exploration in Agriculture is fast-paced and implements all learning styles. Major units of instruction include an introduction to the agriculture industry, animal science, plant science, horticulture, agribusiness, environmental science, agriculture mechanics, food science, and leadership and personal development. Participation in FFA is also an integral course component for leadership development, career exploration and reinforcement of academic concepts.
