Welcome to Animal & Veterinary Science!

In this course, you will be able to learn more about all kinds of animals in your care, or for working with them in both domestic and commercial capacities. It will also provide a background of the history of animal production and the livestock industry. It will also give students a solid foundation in animal biology while learning about vital systems, anatomy, growth factors, and more. Topics will also include animal anatomy, and physiology (small & large) animal ethics, and welfare issues, animal health, and veterinary medicine. Career exploration will focus on veterinarians, veterinary lab technicians, office lab assistants, research lab assistants, animal nutritionist, and many more within the livestock industry.
