Proposal Support Specialist
BAFO Services LLC is hiring for Proposal Support Specialist. BAFO Services LLC is a Veteran and Women-Owned that provides business development, proposal, and strategy for growth within the United States government contracting market. BAFO Services provides proposal management and solution development support to small businesses. Our support will help businesses develop their entire proposal from start to finish, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, providing surge support, or offering targeted proposal guidance and reviews ensuring that documents are concise, compliant, and compelling.
Duties may include:
Use Microsoft Word to reformat documents and proofread using the Track Changes feature.
Format resumes in a universal format for proposal submission.
Help develop and submit marketing documents by providing administrative support
Use word processing systems to create presentations, calendars, acronym list, spreadsheets, matrixes, and organize proposal content.
Create computer graphics such as organizational charts.
Utilize word processing, data processing, and industry-specific software programs to edit and finalize materials.
Meeting with other team members, including writers, senior editors, project managers and marketing directors, to create content
Revising content
Ensure the quality, branding, and compliance of final proposal documents.
Contribute to assigned process improvement initiatives
Review and analyze government Request For Proposal (RFP) documents to ensure adequate information for proposal preparation is provided.
Ensure documents are free of grammar, spelling, and typographical errors.
Qualifications:
Experience with government contracting terms, processing and proposals.
Desired, not required - Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or marketing.
Military veteran status a plus
Strong Microsoft Word skills
Strong editing and competencies.
Strong command of English language and good communication skills.
Solid leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills
Must posses a working computer with Microsoft Word and Internet access
Business Development Specialist
BAFO Services LLC is hiring for Business Development Specialist. BAFO Services LLC is a Veteran and Women-Owned that provides business development, proposal, and strategy for growth within the United States government contracting market. BAFO Services provides proposal management and solution development support to small businesses.
Description of tasks: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead the development and implementation to enhance business capabilities and offerings.
Develop and maintain business pipelines for clients, leading strategic development/growth initiatives.
Attend scheduled and ad hoc meetings with clients.
Attending conferences and trade shows on behalf of clients and/or in conjunction with Clients.
Develop marketing plans for clients, this may include preparing marketing brochures, marketing materials, external facing documentation.
Prepare and update annual business development plans and quarterly business development reports, which will be presented to the client.
Perform capture management tasks, including pre-proposal activities such as capability matrices, drafting templates, and gathering customer intel.
Identify teammates and teaming arrangements to better capture opportunities for our clients.
Lead and support proposal management, technical writing, compliance checks, and overall proposal submissions.
Leverage industry knowledge to set client specific goals and appropriately assign priorities.
Actively participate in weekly business development meetings with clients.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, marketing, science/technology or related field). In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years’ experience in federal contracting, marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years in supporting Federal customer-facing activities and with GSA
Experience working in a cross-functional team, and able to properly manage stakeholders.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to clearly communicate with company executives and government leadership.
Ability to foster a positive user and customer experience.
Organized and efficient at managing multiple complex projects at any given time.
Knowledge of conflict resolution and negotiation, managerial communications, and competitive intelligence.
Ability to creatively solve problems and execute professionalism in all work environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365) and/or Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites)
