Specially Designed Instruction

Specially Designed Instruction, which is embedded in a student's Individualized Education Plan, was created to support the need of tests being read to students. A lot of the time, instructional time is wasted when special education teachers are pulled away from instruction to read tests to students. Allowing students to use an iPad to read specific sections of the test gives special education teachers the ability to continue with implementing instruction, as opposed to reading tests.
