SOAR School Counselors are here to support you with your high school graduation requirements, A–G requirements, and overall high school academic plan. However, when it comes to your Antelope Valley College (AVC) academic goals, it is important to work directly with an AVC Counselor.
Students should meet with their AVC Counselor for questions regarding:
Associate Degree (AA/AS) plans and requirements
CAL-GETC requirements
Transfer requirements and pathways
AVC major requirements
College course sequencing and educational plans
Degree progress and completion
UC/CSU transfer planning
Your AVC Counselor can help you create an official Student Educational Plan (SEP) based on your intended major, degree, and transfer goals.
