The SHINE (Student Help, Intervention, and Necessary Encouragement) Program provides additional support for students who may be experiencing academic challenges. As part of the program, students are required to complete a weekly SHINE Check-In to reflect on their academic progress, attendance, assignment completion, and overall well-being.
Weekly check-ins allow counselors to monitor student success, identify areas where support may be needed, and connect students with appropriate resources. Consistent participation helps ensure students remain engaged, accountable, and on track toward meeting both high school and college expectations.
Students should complete the check-in form assigned to their counselor each week and communicate with their counselor if they have concerns or need additional assistance.
