Counseling Presentations

The SOAR Counseling Department has been visiting AVID classes to provide students with important information and resources to support their academic success and postsecondary planning. These presentations give counselors an opportunity to connect directly with students and provide grade-level-specific guidance on topics such as high school graduation and A–G requirements, AVC coursework, four-year planning, college and career readiness, college applications, financial aid, scholarships, and other important deadlines. By partnering with AVID teachers and bringing counseling services directly into the classroom, we are helping students stay informed, prepared, and on track toward their goals.
