Hi my names is carly, I am finally 6 years old and my mommy says I have to start working for food now that I am a big girl. It is going to be hard she says but that at the end of the day I will have food on the table. It is about to be 3 o'clock in the morning and I have to go work. I am really scared. I talk to you later, okay so now it is later. Today they gave me a tour of the working place and it is really really big. Tomorrow while be my first day as a sewer.

Hi again, today was my first day of work. It was the worst thing in the world. I got a big cut on my knuckles from sewing. The thingy moves so fast I can not keep up. I tried talking to the other girls but they gave me a mean look and didn't help me. So when the guy came in he screamed at me and locked me in there. It is 11pm right now and i can not sleep cause the walk to work is 4 hours and i start at 3. Here is a drawing of what work was like.

Today was the best day ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked to work and was early so I got to choose the fastest thing. It is the fastest so that means I can go home early. It was also pay day. And also I made a new friend. She was really nice and pretty. She is new and her name is Lindy. She got here early too and guess what. She cut her knuckles to. She is now my best friend. Today was pay day and I got my 1.20 for 2 days work. My mommy was sad but she say it will help for something. Nighty night

Hi today was my 4 day of work. I'm really tired and mommy says i am getting to skinny. Mommy cries a lot now but it is okay because i bring food to the table. I got work and lindy was saving a thing for me. I still have not learned the name for it but I don't really care. Me and lindy are learning how to be faster and faster but our backs hurt alot. Mommy says i got a crooked back now. But that is okay because i bring food to table. Today was boring nothing happened but tomorrow will be a new day.

Today was terrible. I start from the beginning, I woke up and i couldn't find my shoes. Mommy said she sold them for food. So I had to walk all the way to work with no shoes. My feet are still bleeding from the walk. When I got work Lindy had a new friend. So i was all by myself. But then Lindy sat next me and started sewing. But Lindy was sewing so fast I told her to slow down. She did not listen and tried to stop her and I cut my whole finger off. It hurts alot and i couldn't stop crying. But lindy kept sewing, but the bad part is she cut her whole hand off. It was terrible, ran to the guys office and he told me to go back to work. I did not go so he hit me. he hit me really hard and threw me out, he said to never come back. I went go get lindy but she was laying on the floor with a lot of blood around her. She wasn't speaking. Mommy says she was napping and was going to be asleep for along time because she is tired. The guy came out and screamed at me and picked me up. He threw me across the room and said to leave. I came home and mommy made my booboo all better. I hope tomorrow will be better cause i am starting a new job.
