General Information

Expectations 

• Students are expected to come to class prepared to learn with all required materials and a growth mindset.  

• All work is to be completed to the best of his/her ability.  

• Students are expected to use strategies and resources provided by the teacher or found on their own to complete work prior to seeking further assistance.  

• Students are to actively participate in class discussions and activities.  

• The teachings of Christ and respect for all should be the foundation of all behavior choices.  

• Students are expected to behave in a manner that not only supports their learning and growth but the learning and growth of others.

• Students are to work as a team to support each other and create a safe and productive learning and social environment for everyone.

• The Student Code of Conduct will be followed.

Goals

For all students to:

• achieve their personal best

• learn to advocate for themselves 

• see mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow

• develop/improve critical thinking skills

• appreciate the value of hard work

• provide support for answers

• further develop study and organization skills

• develop strategies to evaluate resources

• become independent learners

• work collaboratively to achieve a goal

• develop additional strategies for active listening

• develop empathy for others 

• treat all in a Christ-like manner

Note: If a student has a planned absence, he/she may ask for work prior to leaving.  However, it may not be available and will be given to him/her upon return.
